Update on J

We have some answers on the surgery, and I think it’ll work out well for us in the long run.   We still need a couple more, but we’re getting somewhere.
J had planned on staying home with Kooky today and going ahead with the scheduled surgery tomorrow, but it was not approved by Worker’s Comp as of last night.   So I took a slightly dejected Kooky to school and he went to work and waited.
It got approved at 11:45 today.   Before then, the surgeon who was going to work on him had scheduled an appt to look over J’s two suspected hernias with the hopes of the smaller surgery being able to help him.   J went to the appt and the surgeon was held up in another surgery.   J’s was cancelled until next Friday, and they are giving him the better part of next week off work, knowing that he is lifting more than he should be.
So now he has an appt on Monday with the surgeon, and he can take two days off with Kooky before he is possibly laid up for a time.   I was offered tomorrow off still, and I gladly accepted.   I am planning on taking her to school for awhile, running some errands alone, working on the house a bit, sleeping maybe, working on Avon, and just being by me self.   I feel a little bad but it is the school birthday for her little friend and that will be fun, even though we are attending the real party as well.
Social parent activity.   Hmmmmm….don’t like it.
In other news, I was felt up last night.   By my daughter!   She is really at that curious time and I know I need to let her be.   I just told her NOT to do that out in public.   I guess it is strange that moms have boobs and little girls don’t.   She is also asking me to identify her body parts.   I am and just leaving it at that.
