I shall write further of my brother.   We WERE close at one time, being that he lived at home into his 30’s and I was a mere 8 years behind him in age.   I miss the brother that I grew up with and the one that I once worshiped.   I miss the brother that used to wake up early on Christmas morning with me to keep me company while I waited for my parents to get up.   We used to have this silly habit where I’d help him make his bed and it was fun for me.   He had some problems as he got older, drugs and the like.   I guess at some point our age difference pushed us apart rather than bringing us together.   He met his wife and they seemed happy for awhile, but he was miserable shortly after the wedding.   He had gone right from living at home with a mom who did most everything for him to a house with three younger kids and a wife that pretty much took care of him.   I like my SIL, but she has her issues as well.   My brother cheated on her before this time and left for awhile.   They got back together for whatever reason and she claims she singlehandedly held her marriage together at that point.   Huh?   They ended up foolishly buying a home in her sis’s name, and now SIL rents that house from her sis.   He left a bit into that and lost his mind.   He bought a  lowered pick up truck at the age of 40 and filled it with expensive things as any 20 year old would.   I don’t know.   MY mom absolutely does not get why we don’t want to talk to him.   Different points of view, I guess.
I took some ‘me’ time today.   I left work at 12 and went to the dollar tree for storage baskets for the car for Miss Kooky’s toys.  I spent $15 there on a lot of good crap, like stuff for the 4th of July and more things for her.   I then went thrifting and got her some movies, clothes for later, some capris and pants for me, and some Liz C purses for me for $4 each.   I need a change with my purses.   I came home and cleaned the tub and am washing some things and might clean up the kitchen before I go and get her.   I love surprise me days.  
I put on some capris today that were a bit tight a couple months back when I bought them.   My ass now looks a bit smaller in them!   I’ve been walking for an hour about 4 days a week and it’s helping.   I might even wear these to get the kiddo today.   🙂
