Last Two Months

Today has been one of those days. There is so much to write and i don’t know where to start..

Last Two Months

Having come home from Hospital (which is a entry in its own) only a week later I went out shopping to Target in watergardens. Being winter it was cold, grey and ugly outside and having walked around with a toddler in tow I just wanted to go home. I walked outside heading for the car, to only find that it was missing. Which got me thinking;
"Oh I didn’t park here, it was way over there".

Just as I started to walk "over there", I could see that there was no car. Where the hell had my go kart gone to? I walked around the parking lot tring to find my car with no luck. I started to head back inside into the shopping center to ask for managment so that I could call Matt and get him to come get us. I was told at the desk that this happens all the time. What happens all the time, that people park there cars in different places to what they believed?  No!  That cars get stolen  from the parking lot all the time.  That didn’t even enter my mind.  So my go kart  was stolen and they didn’t even  leave behind the baby car seat. How rude!

So this started a months worth of paper work and waiting, because you just don’t know my go kart may have shown up again. So we waited and we waited and nothing. No go kart. Finally I was given a Money check and told that if the car is found, they would let me know. As it would turn out, later on that week Matt, Shane and myself went along to a Family car auction and we came home with bigger faster car. Not a go kart but a real car. Now feeling very poor after having to add $4000 dollors towards the car that we have saved for the house. But however it must have been meant to be. Because now I have room to place in a second baby seat ;o)

Now this where all the problems at Matt’s work, just got bigger and bigger. He hated getting up in the morning to go. It was heartbreaking to watch too. Having worked for these people for years, it finally took a sour twist. He walked out. He had just had enough with the bitching and back stabing. He came home. Which now I fully understand why. Matt has been unemployed now for 2 weeks. I can’t remember the last time that he was this happy. Even more so that he had told me that he wants to join the Army.

*Eyes pop out of head*

But he is my soul mate, and i’m still coming to terms with it. Last Wednesday he went to a info night and I tagged along. I must say that it was interesting.

Today he went along to a JOES day which is all the testing and exams. He pasted with lots of flying colours. So now he needs to see a doctor about his back and get the all clear from him. Then he needs to get medical records from the Hospital in Portland and have them sent into the main office.

Once that is done, he goes back in for a "head to toe" medical with the Army Doctor, and a interview for the job that he has applied for. So I’ll update about this as we get more into it. He does have to pick which part he wants to go into The navy or the Army…

We celebrated Callum’s second birthday too, which if you go back three entries there are lots of photos.
