Will Someone Get Me a Tissue?

Taken from “Up The Duff” By Kaz Cooke.

Week 14

Congested Nose

“Something you may share with the sisterhood of pregnancy is a blocked, congested nose or one that is runnier then usual. You may also get nosebleeds. These schnoz problems are the result of the same hormonal effects that creates gum problems, which causes an increasted blood supply, softening and swelling of the mucus production and easier bleeding. This means colds and upper respiratory tract infections can take longer than usual to clear up.”

Right now my best friend are my kleenex Aloe Vera tissues. I made a trip to see the Doc yesterday. One very sore head, sore nose, sore blocked ears and sore chest. Upper respiratory tract infection. Just what very pregnant woman needs. So I have befriended the bed and blanket, hot chocolates, Mum’s love and Matt’s cuddles for the last 2 days. Cuddles always make me feel better. Oscar and Jazz are loving the fact the heater is on and that im in bed most of the day, or just laying on the couch. Lots of happy prrrrs from this house.
