Off we go

We are headed up the road tomorrow morning.  Kinda like the Beverly Hillbillies.  We are driving up to South Carolina to close the deal on our little retirement home.  We will be close to our daughter and our grandchildren.  We wanted to transport most of the power tools ourselves and so the truck bed is loaded down.  I told Stanley maybe we should get dressed up to travel so we don’t look so needy.  Thankfully he could fit not another item on the tools and boxes in the truck bed.  He was trying to force two gigantic pond molds he has, one round and one puzzle piece shaped.  Thank God they wouldn’t sit properly.  I was nervous that they would blow right off the truck…with a strong wind.  All the gear is tarped covered and rope tied….so hopefully.  The truck is our old girl but she has served us well.  If she dies on the way I don’t know what we’ll do.  I am not so sure AARP motoring will tow her up 95.
We won’t be really moving for quite a while.  But, as great as the buyers market is now we could not pass up the timeframe.  Our Florida  home isn’t even on the market yet.  Oh boy, that’ another story……
Rosie will be going to stay with her Doctor, she loves Jack the kennel tech, I send treats and her favorite rug with her. I’ve explained to her she is going to the spa….ahhh, bathe, manicure, or should I say pawicure…hehehhe.  She will start shaking the minute we get near the office but once inside she is happy to see all the Vet people who love her and have known her since she was a babe from the woods….old old entry…  All our wonderful neighbors here will keep an eye on the house….so I will talk to you all soon.  Keep us in your prayers, I appreciate it.. tight hugs, Ollie
