help get the word out
The film I wrote is going into production next month. It’s a tiny, indie feature called, "Who’s Afraid of Vagina Wolf." We’ve recently attached a producer whose name is Steak Haus — for real — that’s the name her parents gave her. She’s actually the perfect person to produce the film and is someone we were hoping to get on board from the beginning.
Here’s what I was hoping you could do. I am loathe to ask for contributions because you all gave so generously when I did the AIDS Lifecycle back in 2006. What I would like to do though, if you could, is post this link on your facebook pages, Twitter or here in OD. Anywhere that you think you might generate some attention for our fundraising efforts.

Feel free to copy and paste this text to describe the film:
Who’s Afraid of Vagina Wolf is a darkly comic coming of middle age story. Anna, who has sacrificed her love life for her career, wakes up the day after her fortieth birthday to realize she has neither. Desperate to jumpstart her sagging filmmaking career and win the affections of her beguiling ingénue, Katia Amour, Anna launches a hasty microbudget retelling of the Edward Albee classic, "Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" featuring an all lesbian cast.
The website for the film is at: http://www.vaginawolf.com
Again, no donations (unless you really want to) — I’m just looking for people to spread the word. Many, many thanks!!!
The funny thing is, this film really is a case of life imitating art. It’s been getting very Meta in here. My director, Anna, plays herself in the film and she’s been literally single for ten years and living the bohemian artist lifestyle (ie; poor) since 1992.
Done.
