Weekend of Good and Bad
Well what a good weekend. I was disappointed that OD was down last week, and I was only getting started.
My husband and I have been eating well! I’ve noticed that Ben is even trying to exercise more. I always think he looks great, but I’m glad he wants to keep himself healthy.
I made some sesame seed snacks (basically just sesame seeds and honey) and Ben seems to like them. They are filling, and they taste okay. I think I’d make them again.
We DID end up going to a friend’s house for lunch on Sunday. I wasn’t quite sure how to handle it. I didn’t want to be rude and try to make her make us something that fit our diet… so we just ate in moderation. Everything in the meal was something we shouldn’t be eating (except the chicken… but it was wrapped in ham and drenched in cheese) It all tasted SO good, but I did have a terrible headache later. Not sure those two things are related, but we’ve only been on our new "diet" a week and I want to give it a fair chance.
I’m not sure what I’ll make for dinner tonight, but I hope I come up with something good. Also, Ben and I carved some pumpkins this past friday, and we got a HUGE bag of pumpkin seeds to roast, so I hope i can start on those today.

I need to remember to get more fruit for lunches and snacks, as well as more veggies to go with the hummus that Ben likes so much.
