Rocks

A dull ache in my lower back several days before the Buick invitational made me think I was having a bit of my IBS. Irritable stuff that. A couple of days before, I could barely walk much less stand. The day after, the pain migrated, and I added gobs of water to my life. Today was the cut off day, if I was still miserable I’d call the doc.

Well, it’s a holiday. I’m better. I’m running only a little fever. It’s the best I have felt in a week. I’m still not 100%. Since it is a holiday, I guess I will call the doc tomorrow….tho I will make the grand gesture and attempt to call this morning.

I used to call my mother Mrs. Gotrocks, now I am.

Hi Georgette…I found your diary on the front page of FOD. =) I see that you have problems with IBS too. It is the “thorn in my side” so to speak! I have the lower back pain and hurting most of the time. Mine slowly gets worse and i had to finally give up my career in banking 4 1/2 years ago. It was devastating! I know God has plans for my life but sometimes i just wish he would hurry! …

…If you don’t mind me asking, what all do you do for your IBS? I’ve been to SO many doctors and had SO many tests that it really gets discouraging to hear…”Well, you’ll just have to live with it!” That is just NOT good enough for me! You want to look at these drs. and say “well, you come and live ONE DAY in my shoes and still tell me that!” Grrrr! I hope you have a happy day! =)

Thanks for stopping by my diary and thanks for the info. I’ve been the fiber route a LONG time ago and it only made mine worse. My problems were caused from a dr. overdosing me on prednisone many years ago. I’m always doing research on it and listening out for new things that have helped others. Thanks again! =)

Feeling bad is not the way to spend a holiday! I sure hope it doesn’t last past today! I have always thought if we have to spend our vacation or holiday sick, we should get a do-over!!!

Feel better, dear friend. 🙂

Oh my. Hope that your rocks soon become pebbles and then just grains that can be washed away!((Carrie))

Ouch! Dang, I’m sorry you’re not feeling well. We always used that term, “Mrs. Gotrocks,” to describe someone wealthy — like with lots of diamonds, etc.

The backache part makes me think kidney infection. Those aren’t fun.

I hope you feel so good tomorrow that you think, “doctor-schmoctor, I don’t need no stinking doctor!” I’m sending good thoughts your way, Georgette.

I hope you continue to feel better…

Many years ago there was a rock shop in the local town called “Gotrocks Gordon”. That prefix wouldn’t sell well at Tiffany’s, LOL! IBS is new to me. Would that be: “Irritable Bowel Syndrome” Try a Zantac pill with major meals for a few days (Ranitidine is a genetic). I’m no Dr–just a happy patient of a good one
