….and forward.

…just for the record.

The First: G stayed up till midnight to hear our eighty year old neighbor out on her back deck pounding a saucepan with a spoon. Delightful. Then I had a long lovely day with G culminating in a breathtaking ride into the mountains with the top down to buy socks at the Viejas outlet center. World Softest Socks….winners those. Always looking for a new work coat too. Mine is becoming fragile and rips easily. No one is selling light windbreakers with front zip pockets. Darn.

The Second: Both of us off to work in the chill of the new year. Missing Frazier terribly. I had gotten so used to talking with him all during the day. Now my day is silent except for all the apologies I make to customers as I error after error due to lack of brain function. Lots of that.

Business Meeting time again: See if I volunteer for this one again. It’s not a bad job, but my lack of brain function makes it almost impossible to do. Called the wonderful and supportive Secretary, who was asleep at the job, and we both together made up one brain. The outlines are done for the agenda and the meeting now open. Three items.

The Third: More Biz Meeting things, clip the papers for local interest items, and off to work with the Subject files at the HS. (Of special interest to me: The aircraft carrier Midway is on its way down the coast to be a museum here in SD.) Third day on the diet. I don’t feel a bit thinner but I am resolute. I gained seven pounds over the holidays, and that puts me in the “they don’t make clothes for people my size” category.

Good work on the diet. I’m finally back on today. Maybe a Frazier replacement will show up just when you need him most. Hope your week-end is relaxing. xoxo

Hmm. I’ll look for windbreakers here too. Happy New Year! 🙂

“they don’t make clothes for people my size category”!!!! Howling. I was getting ready to sew bedsheets together for myself. Maybe you need another kitty at the work place. Sorry you are missing Frazier so much. Hugs,

i know its hard without your buddy frazier….see if there are any little fraziers he might have left somewhere there lol…….congrats on sticking to the diet. im not there yet. still thinking and thinking about it……ack.

I am so proud of that 80 year old who can still stay up late enough and have enough energy and enthusiasm to bang pans on NYE…love to you, Georgette…

I hope something small and furry wanders your way soon; although no one will ever replace Frazier, it would be good for you to have a fuzzy assistant. I am still getting accustomed to the idea of online meetings and groups. And business meetings; ack! Hugs and gratitude.

They do too make clothes for people your size. But congratulations on staying with the diet anyway. I miss Frasier, too! It’s almost baby kitty season. Our local shelter does a ‘meet the critters’ spot on public access once a week. Makes me want to go volunteer there. I will, too, when I get enough brain power back! Your neighbor sounds like quite a gal. So, what’s for dinner?

Ha..did you look in the men’s dep’t for your windbreaker?? The girly stuff never does work for work. I bought two ( at different times) great jackets at CostCo. Who cares if they zip on the opposite side?? Looking forward to the Midway return and yourpictures.((CarriE))

So sorry about Frazier :(……maybe another little guy will wander along and adopt you. Wish me luck I start my diet Monday (the 5th)..I kind of started the beginning of December and I’ve lost about 6/7 lbs…so it’s not too bad. I’ll keep you in my thoughts…….Warm Smiles & a Hug….

That’s the only good thing about having the flu, or whatever the heck it was, I lost the weight that I gained over the holidays. But I certainly don’t recommend that way of dieting.
