T minus 5

I’ve not been doing a good job of keeping up with you all, and I’m sorry.

Part of it is my commitment to really throwing myself into my work so I can kick ass at it. So far so good, but between packing and cleaning and spending quality time with my puppies on weekends and concentrating on work during the week, I’ve been at a loss as far as a personal life. It’s not permanent – nothing ever is – and someday I’ll be around more often again.

Until then, though … Open Diary friends, you are my first true love(s) and I will not, cannot, ever forget you.

So I’ve been seeing this guy, right? Nice guy, good guy … I like him a lot. He likes me a lot. It just is what it is; there have been no promises about next month or next week, or even tomorrow, really. He’s Mr. Right Now … day by day. I have no intention of hurting him, and definitely no intention of hurting myself, either.

But.

St. Paul is back on the scene. He admitted that he’s been ‘weird,’ I agreed, he didn’t explain why and I didn’t ask for an explanation. We’ve been chatting now and then, and now it’s his turn to mention meeting up and hanging out and blah blah blah. He lives 20 minutes away from where I am staying.

I’m a little torn.

… but not really.

Part of it is I don’t want to hurt Mr. Right Now, but even more so it’s more about not wanting to hurt myself.

So I’m not going to.

… but at the same time, it’s nice to feel wanted.

I don’t have pictures at the moment, but I got my hairs did over the weekend. Dark auburn lowlights, platinum highlights, cut short at the nape and a little longer on top. I feel a little glamorous.
