Tick … tick … tick …

“This is my “depressed stance.” When you’re depressed, it makes a lot of difference how you stand. The worst thing you can do is straighten up and hold your head high because then you’ll start to feel better. If you’re going to get any joy out of being depressed, you’ve got to stand like this.”
~ Charlie Brown

About noon today I started feeling tense, just out of the blue. Someone came over to my desk to ask me something and they stood a little too close, which made me more tense. Then I did something kind of stupid work-wise and when I realized my error, well, blah blah more tense blah blah blah, insert saying that involves coal-into-diamonds blah blah, blah …

Cue me nearly flipping out, lying to my boss about an emergency at home and just leaving work 90 minutes early. Cuz I’m cool like that.

The weather here has been one of two things lately: perfect or miserable. Last week we had hurricane-force winds with rain; this week has been sunshine and blue skies. I picked a good day for a near-panic attack.

I worked out with my personal trainer today, too. Pretty sure this old girl isn’t going to be able to lift her arms too well tomorrow, but that’s ok; I won’t think about how much I ache, I’ll think about how good I’m going to look in a few weeks.

And so ends November 3, 2010.

I want a personal trainer! Or even just to go back to the gym…

personal trainer! good for you. okay exercising! good for you!

I’ve left work (or just not gone in) due to fabricated emergencies. A girl does what a girl’s gotta do.

the worst work lie I ever told to leave: “Sir, I just recieved a call that my Dad is dead. Can I please Leave?” I didn’t really LIE. It’s just that my Dad had died 10 years earlier. I really am going to burn in hell. I am.

Sometimes you just need to get out of the office.

Panic attacks suck! 🙁

I love the Charlie Brown quote. Amen, Charlie! Sometimes you gotta just jet. Tracy and I are meeting Ally for dinner, it won’t be the same without you!
