What I was going to write about:

“It ain’t no sin if you crack a few laws now and then, just so long as you don’t break any.”
~ Mae West

I was going to write about how I got my hair cut and it turned out just like I wanted it, and now it takes like ten minutes out of the shower for me to get ready and head out the door.

I was going to write about how I’m looking forward to working in a much friendlier social scene on the weekends (not that my M-F environment is unfriendly, but my employer is not one you’d like to get a phone call from, whereas my weekend employer is a hoot, holler and a sock fulla yowzas).

I was going to write about how sweet my little Gracie-puppy is in the morning, with her stretching and whining and not wanting to get out of bed when I get up so I leave her curled in the covers while I get in the shower.

I was going to write about the sunrise I see every day on my way to work and how the sun shines through the tops of the trees and they’re oh-so-green-green-green these beautiful days.

I was going to write about how this last year has been so opposite of where I thought I’d be and while I am through the majority of the hardest part of it, I am realizing just now that the angst and anxiety and stress is catching up with me.

I was going to write about my love/hate relationship with eating and food and feeling stuffed and gross but unfulfilled when I eat too much, and powerful and in control when I make something good for myself. Which reminds me, I didn’t eat breakfast this morning and forgot to bring anything for lunch. And all I have in my emergency snack drawer is popcorn and soynuts. Argh.

I was going to write about how my best work-friend is moving to Topeka because her husband landed this super-awesome job there and now I have to find a new work best-friend, but I fear this lady is irreplaceable. I know friendships come and go, but I don’t want this one to go.

And I was going to write about much I don’t care about placed interest in the balance on these Pennsylvania affidavits, but it would be better if I just got to work and forgot about bitching about stuff.

Nose to grindstone, my friends.

You were going to write about a lot of things. Oh wait, you just did.

It was nice not to have read any of the stuff you were going to write about. Or something.

I love this! And I sure relate to everything you wrote about the love/hate relationship with food.

“a hoot, holler and a sock fulla yowzas” is my favorite phrase of the day.

And a pretty nose it is, too. I wish I had your talent for saying so much so succinctly. For someone who didn’t write much, you conveyed a lot.

I like almost everything in this entry.

RYN: I have no idea where Mayfield Village is. Well, I did a quick search via Google and it looks to be near Cleveland. Does that sound right to you? I’ve never actually been to Cleveland, but I think I’m about 3 hours away. When would you be there?
