CODE RED

Well the Super Bowl matchup shapes up the way I selected. With the last two picks I clawed my way up to 75% in the pool I was in. Are you all impressed ?
It was a rather uneventful day yesterday except for one thing. About 3 pm I heard a truck pull up at my house and I looked out from the bedroom where I was cleaning. My son was there and I heard him try the locked front door. By the time I got downstairs he was coming in through the unlocked back door. He laughed and said was there something wrong with my phone as he had called me four times with no answer. He was concerned enough that I might have had a medical problem and needed help. My cell had been in my jacket and set on vibrate so I never heard it. Nice to know he cares, LOL.

It is nice to know someone would check on us, just in case. I left my cell phone at home one Sun afternoon for a meeting. Oh my goodness my two oldest kids were soooo upset they couldn’t get a hold of me. I could just giggle like a school girl when I got home and daughter was yelling from her house on the hill, “where have you been? We’ve been worried sick” as it reminded me of years ago when I would go past my curfew by just a few minutes.

I leave mine on vibrate and miss most calls. My friends and family are used to that. Worry there may be a real emergency like your son thought but let’s face it they are pretty reliable when they suspect something is wrong and are Johnnies on the spot. I knew we had children for one of many reasons! 🙂

Go Broncos!

I’d be more concerned that you weren’t feeling a vibration: :/ Don’t tell any future dates 😉

my kids would never check…my work would in a heartbeat tho. :/

A demonstration of caring is comforting. Dmn cell phones.

I’m glad that you have such a good son.
