GODS OF THE CAR WASH

I think that there is a direct connection between Car Wash facilities and the God of bad weather. Yesterday I had a full-service car wash, interior and wax. I was going out for dinner and the restaurant has valet parking. Can’t have those valets thinking my red beauty is not loved. So lets go all out. Plus tip>

I look out the window this am and what do I see. My car is covered with frost and the windows all have that haze telling me that there is interior frost as well. When I get the car going it will defrost and the windows will be all spotty and streaky and blurry. I will have to devise a suitable sacrifice to appease those God’s in order to obtain 24 hours from one car wash.

Tonight is the big event, my anniversary celebration and I am trying to determine what to wear. Yes , men also thing about these things but to a lesser extent. One of my friends wore a white suit one. I thought he had gone to work in an Ice Cream store. Another woman yearly dress in black and her friends came dressed the same way. Not a Coven, just formal. I am thinking jeans are out, and maybe a Jacket and Sport shirt level of dressing will be appropriate. My three children plan to attend, my wife and my mother-in-law also. Over the years their support has been unswerving and a factor in my staying sober. I go to a Saturday am meeting every Saturday. This meeting has been a cornerstone to my program. It is held in a Church that dates back to the 1740s and is in an idyllic setting. Weather permitting it is held outdoors and is totally inspirational. I attend the beginners section religiously ( it is in a Church) and it is the 4th meeting I ever attended. I learned that a friend who had over 8 years is not out doing research. I did not need the reminder but I still received it. I scares me.
