Every week needs a Monday

The weekend carried over into Monday for once. I had a good weekend and today was more of the same. The weather wasn’t the greatest but did not take away the enjoyment of the day. Work was satisfying and I really had a feeling of accomplishment from my efforts. During the day my daughter stopped in with her three children. I had to write a letter about why my grand daughter Laura was special to me. This was for a school ( K ) project that is to become a scrapbook. While I did this the other two ran around the room having a great time, a four year old and fifteen months. Laura sat on my lap while I typed out my letter and thank God for Print Preview and Spell Check. This does lighten a work load at the office.

After dinner I went to a birthday party for my eleven year old granddaughter.; She is the elder of my son ‘s two children. Cake coffee, ice cream and love all in one room.. We gave her clothes of course but the hit of the evening was a Poke man game set starter kit. Don’t ask me to explain as it is beyond me. I do know that this is the item that caused seizures in Japanese children who watched a TV Show about these characters. This was a great day and I hope that tomorrow is more of the same.

Driving home from my son’s house I could look out over the ocean and see the bright moon grinning down at me. Clouds briefly masked the moon and only left the sky more beautiful as the moon illuminated them This scene underscores the rightness of the day.

You are so lucky. I just wish I am this lucky when I am your age. With grandchildren around. Jolie

Such happiness! You’re very lucky. I,too, love the ocean. I’m really only 50 in a 78 year old body. Luci

Your days sound somewhat like ours; especially so since my husband is a CPA and we’re in our “tax season” mode…you understand? Magpie
