THE OTHER DRIVER

It had snowed overnight and I awoke to a blanket of snow on my car and my wife’s car. Lucky for the street that the cars were there to keep the snow off the ground. One of my pet peeves is drivers who do not adjust to road conditions. I have seen too many accidents that happened in bad conditions that would not have happened if the road was clean and dry. People speed: change lanes abruptly; cut off other cars and tailgate. BAM !!!! Oh I am so sorry it was an accident. Accident hell it was stupidly. Accidents are events without cause and that could neither be avoided or prevented.

So I drove to work today making the proper adjustments in my normal driving habits. Less speed and more distance from the car in front. Then I came up to another car that was doing exactly what I pontificate about and was going carefully down the road. My question is this: Why is it so right when I do it and why does it tee me off so much when the IDIOT in front of me drives carefully?

Or when you’ve left what you consider a safe space between you and the car in front and another car squeezes in. We don’t have snow, but we share insanity in the driving world. CharlieBrown
