Carpe diem

When I went to work this morning I started my car and left it run so that the frost would melt on the windshield. I then walked to the end of the street; crossed the Highway and went over the Sea Wall and to the platform on top. I then looked towards France directly East of the NJ shore and watched God practice painting a picture. God used a little too much orange for my taste but it is an honest difference of opinion. I could feel my batteries gaining power on the fast charge setting. Back in my car I realized another thing that I was receiving. I had to think if I should turn on my headlights or not. Later in the day, after work, , I was able to drive home without the lights. Yes, the days are getting longer and the weather is warming.. Tomorrow some rain is forecast but I can live with that.

I really think that I was influenced by a lot of negative emotions when I went to Atlantic City. The effect on me was such that I became hypercritical and judgmental. A polite way of saying that I was not a nice person. Sunday I had a party with a Group of friends and celebrated the 16th year of the Group existence. Monday evening I went to talk with members of a similar Group to share my experience and hope with them and to absorb theirs. All of these things are positive things and I have started to rebound emotionally. I am generally the last to know what is going on inside me and it takes an outside influence to start restoring my focus. I communicate daily with a Higher Power who helps me to accept life on life’s terms. Anyway, another day or two have passed and I am finding the boarding ramp for the Pink Cloud. The trip is almost starting and anyone who wishes to accompany me on the flight better hurry. Harps, wings and apparel are optional and at the discretion of the passenger. Fasten your seat belts and get ready for a great ride because our destination is hidden from us. Yesterday is history and tomorrow is a mystery. Carpe diem !!!

Your days are getting longer, ours are getting shorter, sunrise is still the best part of the day either way. CharlieBrown
