Dear Log,

Well I went to two parties yesterday. First one consisted of a BBQ (i know it’s only May 7th, and not to mention this isnt the most tropical place on earth) at Jocelyn’s place. There were of us, and we played badminton (because we’re that cool) and it turns out only half of us can actually hit the birdie without it getting stuck in a tree. Of course, they all blamed it on the wind, and it was up to me to climb a ladder and use my handy dandy hockey stick to get it out. Of course, at first the strategy was to throw things at the birdie to get it down, but that resulted in about 10 things getting stuck in the tree. OK, maybe not 10, we’re not that dumb. hehe.We BBQ’ed burgers and hot dogs, and had cupcakes for dessert. (decorate yourself type cupcakes too) heh. Then unfortunately I had to leave early to go to Anam’s Birthday partay. So at Anam’s I knew 3 out of 10 people, but I quickly let my walls down when we got to know eachother a bit better. By the way, when you play twister you get to know people really quickly. Just a little tidbit. She absolutely adored her present, and we spent 3 hours playing various games. I.e.: Truth or Dare, Twister, 20 questions etc… complete with prank calls, and me forcing a girl to down a special recipee of mine. ( pizza doe, chocolate sauce, mayonaise, apricots, mustard, and cheese) I’m so nice, arent I? Anyway, today is a completely different story. Despite my protests that Sunday is the day of rest (p.s.: I’ve picked up a bible twice in my life) mom is recruiting my sister and I to help with the decorating. I declared it  blasphemy and that I was running away to live with Hailey. It didn’t go over too well.

So that’s my recap of yesterday. On another note, I’m really liking my new friend Jocelyn. Our personalities are so similar, it’s kind of creeping me out.

On another note, I get to see Hailey in 10 freaking days. (excuse my french) We’re going to see Lord of the Rings the musical. According to the add, it’s the best show on earth…or maybe that’s middle earth? Oh did you get that LotR joke there? Aren’t you just pissing your pants in uncontrollable hysterical laughter?Yes, you are.

Well, mom is pleading with me to get my painter gear on. I didn’t even know I had painter gear. Oh well, I’m just going to pray that this is all over soon. However, knowing my mom, that’s fairly unlikely.
